Partner organisations might give sustainability a different priority
It is crucial that project or programme objectives are agreed at the beginning of a working relationship, including setting environmental aims so that all the organisations involved are clear as to targets that need to be achieved. Doing this at the outset gives time for negotiations to take place so that objectives can be agreed that are acceptable to all parties.
